The Special Thailand Buddhist Delegation visited in Taipei, Taiwan. The delegation was included 10 Venerable Bhikkhunis and 04 laywomen. The visit organized by Most Venerable Bhikkhuni Dr. Ming Yu, the President of the Outstanding Women in Buddhism Awards (OWBA), Honorary President of the Chinese Character Education Promotion Association, Deputy President of the World Alliance of Buddhists (WAB), The Former President of Chinese Young Buddhist Association in Taiwan (CYBA)

The delegation was included under the instructions of Most Venerable Bhikkhuni Dr. Lee, leadership by Most Venerable Bhikkhuni Rathnavali. The delegation visited to Taipei to engage in religious dialogue and help promote peace across the world. This Special Thailand Buddhist Delegation met Most Venerable Chan Master Guoru, The Abbot of Chan Grove Meditation Centre & Buddhist Monastery in Taiwan and Most Venerable Da Xing Fa Shi, Leader Chan Monk for Retreats & Patriarch Meditation. The delegation also attended their special Meditation program.

Then they were met Most Venerable Bhikkhuni Shih Sheng Hua, the Chief Abbes of Pu Tuo Shan Temple in Taiwan and Cambodia, President of China International Pu Tuo Shan and Most Venerable Bhikkhuni Kuan Chien, the Abbes of Kaiyuan Temple in Tainan, Honan Temple in Hualien, and Daan Forest Park in Taipei. Then they were attended special detox program conducted by Most Venerable Bhikkhuni Yen Ding, the Founder of Auspicious World in Taipei, Taiwan and promoting the physical and mental health education. The program included how to manage our lives? and protect our life.

Then they participated the “2019 International Buddhist Conference and Maha Sanghadana was held at the National Sports University at Linkou, Taiwan. This was the huge Maha Sangha dana in Taiwan hosted by Chung Hwa International Merits Society of Buddha Puja and Sangha Dana Society in Taiwan. More than 7000 Buddhist Monks and Nuns from all districts in Taiwan and overseas with more than 10,000 devotees participated this grand occasion. The Sanghadana held under the blessings & leading by high Buddhist Masters in Taiwan. The President of Chung Hwa International Merits Society of Buddha Puja and Sangha Dana, Mr. Chen Chia Uny & Madam Wang Shue Yu, the CEO and General Secretary of Chung Hwa International Merits Society of Buddha Puja and Sangha Dana Society in Taiwan were coordinated this mass merit event.

This Special Thailand Buddhist Delegation then visited the Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation branch in Taipei. The delegates were studied how to recycling items. Tzu Chi is most popular and punctual for recycling items in the world. Tzu Chi Missions – In 1966, Dharma Master Cheng Yen established the Tzu Chi Foundation in Hualien, on the east coast of Taiwan. With the spirit of self-discipline, diligence, frugality, and perseverance, Tzu Chi set out to help the poor and relieve suffering. Over time, the foundation’s mission started with Charity and extended into Medicine, Education, and Humanistic Culture. Tzu Chi originated in the remote Hualien area and expanded to all five major continents of the world with chapters and offices in 47 countries. Tzu Chi provides aid to over 69 nations. Its volunteers selflessly contribute through a mindset of gratitude, expressing their sincerest care and support to each and every individual in need.

End of the whole visit in Taiwan, before leaving the special Thai Delegation Most Venerable Bhikkhuni Dr. Ming Yu addressed the all members of the delegation. She said, this visit is Golden opportunity between Thai & Taiwan Bhikkhunis. In future both we can share their experience together. Special Thai Delegation also specially thanked to Most Venerable Bhikkhuni Dr. Ming Yu for all superb arrangements.
